Quote: What scale length and tuning did you choose? 28" scale length and will be tuned with a low of A on the base string, presently in standard tuning from A to a. The client may go a bit higher but with the .070 to .016 string set it will I think feel somewhat stiff to play. I built a similar guitar that the client uses normal heavy gauge strings and plays with B or C on the bass I built his guitar with ability to capo into standard tuning as he does a fingerstyle singer songwriter thing so one guitar gives him many options. I loved that guitar tuned CGCFGC before I delivered it DADGAD one full step lower. Fred |
